To our promoters, sponsors, vendors, employees and guests, you are our number one priority!
We want you to be aware that the health and safety of our entire community remains our top priority.
Considering the recent coronavirus outbreak, we want to reassure you that we are monitoring the situation closely and are proactively taking steps to ensure the highest level of safety and cleanliness throughout the Ventura County Fairgrounds and Event Center. The severity of the coronavirus and its capabilities are far reaching and our commitment is to stay informed and do what is in the best interest of all.
In cooperation with guidelines established by the State of California, the California Department of Food and Agriculture and the local, state and federal health organizations have resulted in some events at the fairgrounds being rescheduled, postponed or canceled. We will work with all of our partners as this situation progresses.
At the present time, there are no plans to postpone or cancel the Ventura County Fair, August 5-16 and we will move forward planning it. We will also continue to follow directives from our public health department and the office of Governor Gavin Newsom. Governor Newsom’s directives postponing mass gatherings have not extended through the summer months and for this reason we have not canceled or rescheduled the 2020 Ventura County Fair.
Please keep checking our website for updates.
