This is the page you are looking for when you want to enter something in the Fair.  Whatever department you want, there are links to the correct entry guide below.

Please note:
Auction Checks for youth market exhibitors will be available beginning Friday, September 21, 2018 after 3:00 PM in the Fair Administration Office.  After Friday, the checks may be picked up during normal business hours (Monday-Friday, 8:00 am-5 pm – closed between 12 pm-1 pm).  Checks will not be released until thank you cards are turned in.

1. The Entry Guide is divided by area of interest.
Both senior (adult) and junior (youth/child) competition categories, including 4-H and FFA projects, are listed under each area of interest.

2. All department links are listed below.
Click on the Department you are interested in to download entry details, deadlines, fees, judging schedules and specific rules for your areas of interest . Also, be sure to check the State and Local rules. The downloadable information is provided in Adobe Acrobat pdf format.

3. Online Entry dates are June 1 through July 16, 2018.
Click on the Blue Rectangle below to enter online.  Online entries close at 7:00 PM on July 16, 2018 for most departments.  Please check individual exhibit departments for entry deadlines.

4. Please have your entry forms filled out when you bring your entries to the Ventura County Fairgrounds.

Large and Small Livestock Quality Assurance/Ethics Training Classes:
There are no more Quality Assurance Classes for the 2018 Ventura County Fair.
You can still get qualified for the 2018 Ventura County Fair by taking the online course offered by the YQCA (Youth for Quality Care of Animals) at http://yqca.org.  The cost is $12 per exhibitor and is valid for 1 year.  A copy of the certificate of completion must emailed to kleach@venturacountyfair.org by July 31, 2018.

Note: All market animal exhibitors are required to attend a quality assurance/ethics training to be eligible to participate in the 2018 Ventura County Fair.

Exhibitors who attended quality assurance training in 2014/2015/2016/2017 taught by the State Training Instructor have met the quality assurance/ethics training requirements for 2018.  To verify that you have met the requirements for the 2018 Ventura County Fair, check the Quality Assurance Master Log link below:
