From VC Fair CEO Barbara Quaid:

One of the fallouts of having to cancel the 2020 Fair is the impact on our youth exhibitors that have already purchased their animals and are looking forward to the livestock show and auction. The VC Fair is committed to our youth and want them to be able to fulfill their dream of taking their animal to market and auction and seeing the fruits of their labor.

The hardest decision I have ever had to recommend to my Board was to cancel the 2020 fair but the decision to help the kids in some way makes it much easier to cope with.

Myself and my team, Kim Leach, Derrick Smalley, Chris Garmon and John Hecht as the Auction Chair will be evaluating and putting together a program in the next few weeks that we will be able to roll out to everyone.

Please know that we want the best for the kids and want to be able to help them as much as possible within the parameters of what we can do as a State agency following the Governors and local health department mandates.

From Auction Chair John Hecht:

The Auction Committee is committed to have a VCF Auction in 2020 and are working to make the experience as close to ‘normal’ as possible. Exhibitors can rest assured that there will be a ‘virtual’ market show and auction and that we will communicate the details as soon as we can.

This is the page you are looking for when you want to enter something in the Fair.  Exhibitor information for other departments will be available in 2021.
