The Agriculture & Natural Resources Building provides a dynamic forum for a great cross-section of Ventura County's populace. Feature Exhibits showcase the many facets of our local agriculture industry as well as natural resources and museums; interactive displays, activities and special appearances by area experts provide unique opportunities to educate and entertain fair guests of all ages. This is the building where amateurs and professionals proudly enter their products for competition and display in divisions that include beers, wines, honey, herbs and the bountiful produce that is the heart of Ventura County. |

Perishable entries not claimed by 2:00 PM will be donated to Food Share or discarded. Non-perishable articles not claimed become the property of the 31st District Agricultural Association and will be disposed.

Superintendent
Tom and Charlotte Crocker
Tom Crocker has been in agriculture and farming for the majority of his life. Raised on a dairy farm in Nebraska, he started farming on his own after college and still had farming interests in Nebraska until 2001, when he actively started farming in Ventura County.
The Crocker’s Ranch consists of a cow calf operation which usually ranges from 100 to 150 mother cows plus Stocker cattle numbering up to 60 head. In addition to raising livestock, the ranch has about 3 acres of avocadoes and 2 acres of lemons.
Currently Tom is Vice President of Ventura County Cattlemen’s Association and an active member of California Cattlemen’s Association.
Charlotte Crocker has been a Ventura County resident since 1974, when she moved here from her native England. Although she pursued a career in banking for more than 25 years up and down the West Coast, she always maintained her primary residence in Ventura County, largely because of the rural environment. For the past 10 years, she has played a major role in the operations of the ranch.
Although they are both relative newcomers to the Ventura County agricultural community, over the past few years they have become passionate about doing what they can to spotlight the importance of agriculture to the local area and to maintain the strong agricultural tradition.
